Location
The Hilton Sharm Dreams Resort is set in beautiful landscaped gardens and only 150 metres from the beach. In addition, there are souvenir shops, bank, a hairdresser and a market located in the hotel. Guests are privileged to have the use of one of the best beaches in the area located at its sister hotels the Hilton Fayrouz just across the road. The sandy beach is spacious and has a gently sloping shelf, which is perfect for families with children and the less firm. With an abundance of sun beds, umbrellas and palm trees it is a haven to relax and soak up the sun. It is suitable for snorkelling and other water sports and there is an abundance of marine life to be discovered at the house reef.
Access
Access is good in and around the hotel. There are five rooms in the hotel with adapted facilities. These rooms have showers only – no bathtubs, grab rails in the bathroom and low safety deposit boxes for ease of access. Wheelchair access is available to all restaurants. In addition, there are ramps around the resort easing access.
Accommodation
All guest rooms are decorated with style and offer an array of modern amenities to accommodate all the needs of the guests; satellite TV, air conditioning with individual controls, Tea and coffee making facilities, small seating area, safe, hair dryer, direct dial phones with international lines, bathrooms have bath tubs and showers, mini bar (charged to the room bill), clothes line in the bathroom. Designated non smoking rooms can be booked but are subject to availability. The majority of rooms have either a garden view and or pool view and have a balcony or terrace. All rooms can accommodate two adults and two children under 12. Children under 12 share a three quarter sofa bed or an extra bed dependent on the room type. King bedrooms have sofa. Twin bed rooms have extra bed. Interconnecting rooms can be requested and subject to hotel availability.
Facilities
There are 8 freshwater swimming pools with one being heated in the winter. Pools are open from 7am till sunset. There is one big main pool 2500 Sqm. with a children’s section. Additionally there is a diving pool with a depth of 3m. Towels and sun lounges around the pools and the beach are free. There's a kids club and a children’s playground. A babysitting service (chargesable) is available upon request 24 hours in advance . There is also a kid’s corner at the main buffet restaurant. Baby cots are available upon request. Other facilities include, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Billiard tables, Internet café (open 24 hours) – at a charge, wireless connection to internet at the lobby & Caribi Bar area– at a charge. On the hotel’s doorstep is the International Casino Sharm with different facilities and gaming options. The Health Club of the sister hotel Hilton Sharm Fayrouz resort has a Fitness room, Jacuzzi and massage. There is charge applicable, payable locally.
Food and Drink
Le Jardin is open daily providing a sumptuous buffet breakfast and evening buffet. Located in the main building all guests have the opportunity to dine al fresco whilst sitting on the terrace overlooking the main pool and Sinai Mountains. Children’s buffet is available with a variety of food. Take away breakfast or lunch boxes can be ordered through the reception. The smaller, a la carte, Tex Mex restaurant offers the finest of Mexican fare. You can sit and sip wine as you observe our chefs preparing the finest pizzas and pasta in the Casa Sharm restaurant. Enjoy the exotic cocktails and choice of drinks in the Caribi Bar whilst being entertained by the resident band. You can also try an authentic Arab water pipe (shisha) in the outdoor section of the bar. Casual but smart dress code is appreciated in all restaurants and the lobby. There’s also a pool bar and snack bar and Vitamin Bar located by the heated pool, serving freshly squeezed juices.
