Location
The attractive complex built in 2004, is situated next to Fuengirola’s 12th-century Sohail Castle, has a 300 metre stretch of beach right on its doorstep. This hotel is located in the heart of the Golf Valley, directly on the seafront and within easy access to the bustling town of Marbella and almost at the edge of Mijas. Walking along the beachfront, the centre of Fuengirola can be reached in 15 minutes, while Malaga Airport is just 20 minutes away. Bars, restaurants, shops and an excellent nightlife are all within easy reach.
Access
The spa is accessible by wheelchair and there is a wheel-in shower in the spa. The accessible bedrooms are extra large rooms and have grab rails beside the wc. The ensuite bathrooms have a bath not a shower - the only accessible shower is in the spa. There is 6 steps to access the pool.
Accommodation
The hotel has 285 rooms, 279 of which are Double rooms and 6 are Suites. Guest rooms within the Beatriz Palace and Spa have stunning sea views from their spacious balconies or terraces and also come equipped with a range of amenities, including en suite bathroom, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, modem / dataport, TV, Laundry service. Family adjoining rooms are available.
Facilities
One of the hotel’s best features is the Health and Beauty Spa(access is only available for adults) which is equipped with a hydrothermal pool, waterfalls, thermal sauna and offers mud treatments. Other facilities include a swimming pool, fitness club, tennis court and hairdresser. During Easter, July, August and Christmas there is a mini-club and children's play area open for younger guests. In the evenings guests can enjoy shows a few nights a week. There is also live piano in the lobby bar each evening. As a popular golfing resort, the hotel offers its guests reduced green fee rates for some of the courses.
