Location
The Los Jameos Playa is one of the most modern and most attractive hotel resorts on the Canary Islands. It is made up of several buildings constructed in a style typical to this island, the architecture based on the style created by local artist César Manrique which can now be seen everywhere on the island. The 20,000 m² palm garden with its fantastic landscape is much like an oasis that invites you to stay and relax a while. Here you can have your holiday truly on the sunny side of life. The hotel is located on the East coast of Lanzarote, directly along the mile-long, fine sandy beach of the Playa de los Pocillos. An ideal escape from all the colour of Lanzarote's vibrant holiday resorts, the low-key resort of Playa de los Pocillos is still close enough for you to enjoy the fun of Puerto del Carmen and laid-back Matagorda, with its waterfront promenade taking you all the way to both resorts. If you'd rather just stay in the resort, it has places to eat and drink, a low-key nightlife and a sandy beach. Local ameneties are nearby: 500 m to the shopping centre; 2 km to Puerto del Carmen; 5 km to the airport; 10 km to the capital at Arrecife. A scheduled bus service is also available.

The comfortable rooms all offer either a balcony or a large sun terrace with a view of either the surrounding countryside, the ocean, the pool or the garden. All rooms also come with satellite TV/radio, telephone with direct dialling, if desired a minibar, air conditioning and a safe (for a charge). Both the “Tenerife” and “Graciosa” House have more than 80 double-rooms renovated with new high quality ceramic tiles. In the future all rooms will have the carpet replaced with high quality ceramic tiles.

The New Spa and Wellness Centre includes two new massage rooms and a Softpack treatment room. In addition, hotel guests can enjoy 3 new saunas: a combination Finnish-Biosauna, a steambath and an outdoor Finnish sauna exiting directly into Wellness Area. Feel free to relax in the beautifully designed Quiet Zones within the wellness area inside or outside under the shade. There's also a hairdressers and beauty room.
